The Alan James Project This rich, full sounding and full production act is a combination of two very talented musician/entertainers. Irishman Alan James on vocals, piano, guitar and trumpet with his Alberta native stage partner on vocals, pedal steel guitar, acoustic guitar, Celtic bouzouki, mandolin and trumpet. Full production simply means "the full band sound" with fewer people on stage. Writing all their own background tracks from scratch, they arrange each production/tune around the live instruments being played on stage creating their very unique and full rounded sound. Their vast and seemingly endless repertoire ranges from Many Popular Standards, Celtic, Country, R "n" B to Rock "n" Roll and more…….. They have been playing private functions, conventions, dances and many casinos throughout Canada since they put this partnership together. Watching and listening to these two old pros is a genuine treat, they will take you on a musical journey from the '50's to today while dancing your feet off on the trip. They have a lot of fun on stage and it is addictive, pulling you into their energy of music and laughter. In short, The Alan James Project is a well oiled, smooth, energetic, professional machine that you will enjoy watching, listening, laughing and dancing to, what more could you ask for?. As Alan always says "let music make you dance, sing, laugh, and may ye be in Heaven a half an hour before the Devil knows you’re dead". The Alan James Project ![]() ![]() |
