I have been performing professionally now for over thirty years and I still love every minute I spend on stage. It has been and still is a wonderful way to live my life, I would do it all over again in an Irish heartbeat. I am very grateful!

I enjoy entertaining at casinos, conventions and private functions throughout North America these days as “The Alan James Project” with my good friend and music partner Will Hamm. Will is an extremely multi talented man, not only is he a fine musician playing pedal steel guitar, acoustic guitar, bauzauki, mandoline, trumpet with an exceptional vocal range, he is also a world class luthier making guitars, harps, mandolins, bauzaukis and many other fine instruments, to view Will's website click here. 

I also spend a lot of time in my home studio arranging, producing and recording for The Alan James Project and for several music companies in the U.S.

 I remain ever thankful that I had the opportunity from the mid 60’s to the time I came to Canada to have been a part of a magical time in Ireland “The Showband Era” /also here ,  it educated me well and has been the backbone of my success as a professional entertainer through the years and as long as my voice and health hold up I will continue to perform.
